About Pressure Washing Cardiff

We are a Cardiff based exterior cleaning company. We have been cleaning driveways, patios, roofs, render, decking and gutters across the city and the wider South Wales area since 2019, and most of our work now comes from people who have had us back, or from their neighbours who watched us do it.

What we actually do

Exterior cleaning sounds like one job. It is really about six, and they need different equipment and very different pressures. A block paved driveway wants a rotary surface cleaner and a re-sand afterwards. A rendered wall wants almost no pressure at all and the right biocide. A tiled roof wants scraping by hand and then treating. Using the driveway method on the render is how people end up paying for a re-render, and it happens more often than it should.

So the first thing we do on any quote is work out what the surface is, what state it is in and what it can take. That is the part that protects your property, and it is the part a rushed quote skips.

Why the method matters more than the machine

Anybody can buy a pressure washer. The difference between a good exterior clean and an expensive repair is knowing when not to use it. We carry hot water pressure washing, rotary surface cleaning and low pressure soft washing with professional biocides, and we pick between them per surface rather than per job.

It also matters for how long the result lasts. Blasting moss off a roof or a driveway makes it look clean the same afternoon, but the spores are still there and it comes back within a season. Treating it kills what is left behind, which is why a treated surface stays clean far longer than a washed one.

Working around your property

Before anything is switched on we cover planting, check where the run-off is going to go, and make sure windows, vents and airbricks are protected. Afterwards we rinse down, sweep up and take the mess with us. It sounds obvious. It is also the most common complaint people have about the last company they used.

Local, and small on purpose

We cover Cardiff and the surrounding area: the Vale of Glamorgan, Penarth and Barry, out to Cowbridge and Bridgend, across to Newport, and up into Caerphilly and Pontypridd. Being local means we can come back if something is not right, and being small means the person who quotes the job is the person who turns up to do it.

Insurance and safe working

We are insured for the work we carry out, we work from the ground wherever it is possible to do so rather than putting ladders against your gutters, and we use proper access equipment when height genuinely requires it. If a job needs scaffolding to be done safely, we will tell you that at the quote rather than improvise on the day.
